Smart Routing
Rail selection on published criteria
- The fastest arrival: Speed where it matters: the route that tends to settle soonest for your currencies and destination.
- The highest chance of success: Favouring the rail most likely to land first time, to reduce failed, delayed or returned payments.
- The right rail per corridor: SWIFT, SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS or a local rail, matched to where the money is going.
One payment, weighed across every available rail and routed the way most likely to arrive.

Global reach, regulated execution
Reach is the easy half. The half worth checking is who is accountable for it.
Execution, settlement, onboarding and the compliance obligations behind every payment sit with the licensed company in our group that holds your account, under its own permissions and its own regulator. VIP360 operates the platform and the routing; it is not the counterparty, and it does not hold your funds. You are told which institution moves your money before you sign anything, and its firm reference number is checkable on the FCA register.

SWIFT, SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS and local rails: 50+ payment routes across 170+ countries on the group payments network. The engine picks the rail per payment, per corridor, so a euro payment that needs to arrive in seconds and one that can settle the same day do not have to take the same route.
Three published criteria: fastest arrival, highest chance of success, and the right rail for the corridor. The routing policy is published in full on our Smart Routing page.
A licensed company in our own group executes under its own regulatory permissions. You always know which institution is moving your money.
The words overlap, and the regulated activity is the same one: MDRN FX Services Limited is an FCA-authorised Payment Institution (FRN 540997) whose permissions cover remittance. In everyday use "remittance" usually means a person sending money home, which is not what this is. These are business payments: supplier invoices, payroll, contractor payouts and collections from your customers, running from a business account you hold.
It depends on the rail, and the rail depends on the payment. Within the UK, Faster Payments usually arrives in seconds, CHAPS settles the same working day and Bacs takes three working days. Cross-border, the time depends on the corridor, the currency and the beneficiary bank, which is exactly what the routing engine weighs when it picks a route. Our explainer on CHAPS, Bacs and Faster Payments sets out the UK rails in full.
We do not publish a rate card. A headline rate that ignores your corridors, your amounts and your frequency is a number you could not actually transact at. The figure that tells you something is the all-in cost: what you sent, what arrived, and the difference between them once every component is counted. A specialist quotes that for your own currencies and volumes before you commit to anything.
Yes. Payments run from a multi-currency business account held with the licensed institution you are matched with, so the account comes first. It opens in 48 hours subject to a complete application, and the same account holds 23 currencies, so money you collect can stay in its own currency until you want to move it.
170+ countries and 40+ currencies on the group payments network, across 50+ payment routes. Coverage is not uniform: some corridors run on local rails, others on SWIFT, and a few are closed to us entirely. Tell a specialist where you actually pay and get paid, and you will get a straight answer on your own corridors rather than a map.
