Trust & regulation
A licence you can check
Any website can say “trusted”. A licence is different: public, checkable and enforced. Here’s how to judge any provider, including us.
How to check any provider in two minutes
Every FCA-authorised institution appears on the public Financial Services Register, with its permissions listed. Search the firm’s name or its firm reference number (FRN), then check three things: the firm exists, its status is current, and its permissions cover the service it is selling you. Where a provider is licensed determines which rules protect you, not where its website says it is. A UK web address is not proof of UK authorisation.
We tell you exactly which institution would hold your funds and under which licence, so you can look it up first. And if a specialist provider outside the UK is genuinely the right fit for your sector, we say so plainly: who holds your funds, and under which licence, before anything is signed. No silent offshore routing.

One company in the group is registered in Canada rather than the UK. General Payments Gate Ltd holds FINTRAC MSB registration M22457458 and is registered with the Bank of Canada as a retail payment service provider, which is a different regime from the FCA’s and covers a different activity. Both entries are public: check the Bank of Canada PSP registry entry.
